Upcycled Coffee Grounds: DIY Coffee Scrub

Scrub-a-dub-dub, smell like coffee while in your tub!

Who doesn’t love freshly exfoliated skin? Or maybe you’re just bored and want an excuse to smell like coffee all day long? Either way, here’s our simple recipe for a DIY homemade coffee scrub using your leftover grounds and all natural ingredients:

What You’ll Need:
– 1/2 cup Used Just Coffee Co-op organic coffee grounds
– 1/2 cup Sea salt (or organic cane sugar)
– 1/4 to 1/2 cup Organic coconut oil (unrefined preferred)
– Jar with tight lid

– Melt the coconut oil and allow to cool to room temp, but not solidify
– Mix in the coffee grounds and salt
– Store in a sealed jar

How To Use:
– Scoop a small handful of mix and while in the shower scrub in circular motion
– Rinse in warm water
[Avoid using on face as the grounds may be too abrasive for sensitive skin]
